Dual-channel motor driver module designed for controlling two DC motors or one bipolar stepper motor. The circuit supports motor voltages up to 11 V, works with 3.3 V and 5 V logic systems, and provides output current up to 1.2 A per channel. The design includes dual H-bridges, PWM support, IN / IN and PHASE / ENABLE operating modes, as well as overcurrent and thermal protection. Kamod Motor Driver DRV8835
Dual-channel motor driver module designed for drive systems used in robotics projects, portable devices, electronic toys, and automation applications. The circuit allows control of two DC motors or one bipolar stepper motor using two independent H-bridge channels. The motor supply voltage range is from 0 V to 11 V, while the logic supply voltage range is from 2 V to 7 V, allowing compatibility with both 3.3 V and 5 V platforms, including Arduino, STM32, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Pico systems.
The driver provides a continuous output current of up to 1.2 A per channel and a peak output current of up to 1.5 A per channel. The module supports IN / IN and PHASE / ENABLE control modes, enabling direction and speed control using PWM signals. The design includes overcurrent and thermal protection to reduce the risk of damage during overload conditions. Compact dimensions of 10 × 15 mm and breadboard-compatible pin spacing simplify integration with small electronic projects and rapid prototyping of motor control systems.
