Compact dual DC motor controller. It allows two DC motors to be controlled with voltages ranging from 4.5 to 13.5 V. The controller is based on Toshiba's TB6612FNG chip, which allows a current of 1.2 A (3.2 A peak) to be drawn from each channel. Two input signals (IN1 and IN2) are used for control and can be used to control the motor in one of four functional modes: CW, CCW, short brake and stop. The two motor outputs (A and B) can be controlled separately and the speed of each motor is controlled by a PWM input signal of up to 100 kHz. To bring the motor out of standby mode, the STBY pin must be pulled up to high. Full documentation is available on the product page.

Pololu - 2511
Dual DC motor controller with voltage from 2.5 to 9.5V with 1A continuous current per channel. Has an embedded voltage regulator. Cytron Maker Drive
This Kit with fully-dedicated PWM driver chip handles all the motor and speed controls over I2C. Only two data pins (SDA & SCL in addition to the power pins GND & 5V) are required to drive the multiple motors; you can also connect any other I2C devices or shields to the same pins. This makes it drop-in compatible with any Arduino, such as the Uno, Due, Leonardo and Mega R3. Adafruit 1438
