Description
MP6550 DC motor controller module. It allows controlling the movement of a DC motor with a voltage from 1.8 to 22 V and a current of up to 1.7 A (continuous current). The interface requires two PWM control lines. The controller has built-in protection against reverse polarity, over voltage, overload and overheating. The logic part can be supplied with a voltage from 1.8 to 5 V, so the module can work with 3.3 V and 5 V.
Pinout:
- VIN - supply voltages 1.8 to 22 V
- GND - ground
- VM - pin giving access to motor supply voltage behind reverse polarity protection
- OUT1, OUT2 - motor outputs
- IN1, IN2 - PWM control signal
- SLEEP - input putting into low power mode
- ISET - configuration pin for current sensing and limiting. A 2 kΩ resistor is connected from this pin to ground
- VISEN - current sensor output. This pin provides an analog feedback voltage of 200 mV/A.
- V3P3 - 3.3 V output
