Description

The module enables wireless communication for devices equipped with an RS232 interface via a WiFi network. The ELFIN EW10A version uses an internal antenna only, which simplifies installation inside compact enclosures, embedded devices and industrial control cabinets without the need for an external antenna connection. The device transfers data between the serial interface and TCP/IP network, making it suitable for industrial automation, telemetry systems, PLC controllers and IoT applications.

The module supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n as well as TCP, UDP, HTTP, Telnet and Modbus TCP protocols. STA, AP and AP+STA operating modes allow connection to an existing wireless network or operation as an access point. Configuration is available through a web interface, Telnet or AT commands. The wide 5 V to 36 V DC input range enables integration with various industrial and communication systems.
