Description
Kitronik Line Following add-on is a kit that allows you to add line-following functionality to :MOVE mini MK2 robots controlled by BBC micro:bit. With this add-on, your robot can autonomously follow a line, greatly enhancing the possibilities for educational and recreational projects. The kit is easy to assemble and requires no soldering, making it ideal for beginners and those who want to experiment quickly with robotics. Once assembled, you can adjust the sensitivity of the left and right sensors for smooth and precise line tracking.
By default, the robot follows a dark line on a light background, but the code can be easily modified for the opposite configuration. The kit is backward compatible with the first version of :MOVE mini. It includes all components needed to implement line-following functionality, including the sensor interface and line-following board. The mechanical assembly ensures the kit is sturdy and durable. It is an excellent tool for learning programming, robotics, and interactive electronics in STEM education.
