The QTRXL-MD-01A-S reflective sensor with an analog output enables precise detection of lines and objects. Thanks to its extended range and high sensitivity, it is used in robotic and automation projects. The JST SH connector allows easy integration, and the wide supply voltage range enables flexible use in 3.3 V and 5 V systems.
Description
The QTRXL-MD-01A-S sensor uses an IR LED and a phototransistor to measure light reflected from nearby surfaces. It provides an analog output voltage proportional to the reflectance. The XL version features increased sensitivity and detection range – up to approx. 80 mm – thanks to the use of lenses and a high-efficiency emitter LED. The side-entry JST SH (4-pin) connector is mechanically compatible with Qwiic/STEMMA QT cables (no I²C interface). The sensor operates from 2.9 V to 5.5 V and enables 32-level brightness control independent of the supply voltage.
