About the book
The book can serve as a textbook for learning statistics for high school students, students and hobbyists who are keen on statistical calculations. It will also be useful for people professionally dealing with statistics, which the author facilitates the detection and avoidance of typical calculation and interpretation errors. The calculation examples included in the book have been developed using a computational package called R, available on the Internet free of charge, so that the readers of the book do not have to make tedious calculations by themselves.
The techniques discussed in the book are richly illustrated with clearly described examples, and tasks are placed at the end of each chapter.
