Mini-function generator.
The type 555 timer, despite the passage of many years since its appearance on the market, is still produced and used in many electronic constructions.
With 555 it is easy to construct a generator of several types of signals, which can work as a function generator. The limitation is the ability to work only with one previously selected frequency, but the advantage is the incredible simplicity of the system.
Features:
- Frequency (for given elements) approx. 1kHz
- output signals: saw, sine or rectangle
- rectangular course with about 50% filling
- smoothly adjustable output voltage
- 9Vdc power supply (battery)
The set includes a printed circuit board, a set of elements and documentation.
