Due to the growing popularity of the USB bus and the gradual departure from mounting in the computers of LPT or COM connectors, devices connected to USB connectors are becoming increasingly popular. This type of systems includes the described set. It is an 'adapter' that allows you to control the 1Wire bus from the USB port. The latter is used for communication with various types of measurement systems, for data acquisition, for connection of digital thermometers, iButton pellets, etc. All these devices can be distant up to several hundred meters from the receiver and at the same time can be combined in parallel. This allows you to create an easily developed measuring system.
The device is especially recommended for all PC users who want to control the 1Wire bus
