A color thermometer is a device that allows the simplest way to visualize the ambient temperature. The result of its measurement is presented with the use of color, which enables convenient reading both from near and from a distance. The colors do not show directly the temperature but only the feelings associated with it. Because the meaning of a given color is interpreted by people differently, depending on the season, the device additionally programs the functions of the seasonal calendar. This functionality uses elements of the fuzzy set theory.

The device is especially recommended for daily control of the ambient temperature
