Description

Arduino MKR FOX is a development board with a SAMD21 microcontroller (ARM Cortex® M0+). There are 8 digital inputs/outputs, 12 for generating PWM signals, 7 as analog inputs, USART interface, SPI, I2C, and micro USB socket, power socket and reset button. The board is equipped with the ATA8520 SigFox module enabling the implementation of SigFox communication. The MKRFOX1200 price includes a subscription to the SigFox network for one year.

The advantage of this board is that the SAMD21 microcontroller is equipped with a USB hardware interface, thanks to which it does not require an additional microcontroller or converter implementing this functionality. This allows for extremely easy creation of applications emulating the keyboard or mouse, in addition, it is possible to work the USB interface in CDC mode, thanks to which the Arduino MKR FOX is visible in the computer as a virtual COM port.

Warning!
Unlike most Arduino boards, the MKR FOX 1200 runs at 3.3V. The maximum voltage that the I/O pins can tolerate is 3.3V. Applying voltages higher than 3.3V to any I/O pin could damage the board.
