M7E Hecto Simultaneous RFID Reader is a module equipped with an RFID reader, designed to simplify the reading of UHF RFID tags (EPCglobal Gen 2) with the powerful M7E-HECTO chip from JADAK. This enhanced version, based on the popular M6E reader, offers easier setup and additional features. The M7E Hecto provides high performance, allowing it to read up to 300 tags per second and write within 80 milliseconds. Output power is adjustable from 0 dBm to 27 dBm, which enables range customization. With the appropriate external antenna (sold separately), the reading range can reach approximately 5 meters, while the built-in antenna provides a range from one to 60 cm. Actual range performance depends on multiple parameters, so results may vary.
The reader can easily connect to a computer via USB-C, enabling immediate RFID tag reading through the built-in CH340C converter. The module offers power flexibility, allowing you to choose between USB-C power or 3.3V through a 2.54 mm pitch connector. It can also connect to a microcontroller. A convenient switch on the board allows quick switching between different power interfaces.
