Description
A set of accessories for building an autonomous racing robot based on the popular NVIDIA Jetson Nano development kit. The set consists of a racing chassis, an 8MP camera with a Sony IMX219 sensor, a WiFi Dual-Band 2.4 / 5 GHz wireless communication module and Bluetooth and the necessary accessories.
Attention!
Only 18650 batteries shorter than 67 mm are compatible with the set.The design is based on the Jetson Nano minicomputer. It is an NVIDIA development kit with an ARM Cortex A57 CPU working at 1.43 GHz and a Maxwell graphics chip consisting of 128 cores supporting CUDA technology. The system is supported by 4 GB DDR4 RAM, Ethernet and HDMI interface and two MIPI-CSI connectors. The set is intended especially for graphic design and processing of very large amounts of data as well as for running modern devices using AI. Supports popular AI libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras and MXNet.
The chassis is a structure based on the Ackerman principle with the RC380 drive motor with a speed of 15,000 rpm and the front steering axle with an E6001 servo. The chassis has a heavy-duty metal gear and a double differential lock. The chassis skeleton is made of high-quality carbon fiber and placed on four shock absorbers that stabilize while driving on demanding terrain.
The robot expansion board includes the motor controller, OLED display, battery charging and monitoring circuit, and a case for 4 18650 battery cells.
The set can be used to build a racing vehicle controlled by the included gamepad, computer or mobile device. It can also be an excellent driving base for creating an autonomous vehicle. The set has a very rich support in the form of tools such as TensorFlow, OpenCV, TensorRT, Keras as well as DonkeyCar, a platform that uses neural networks and deep learning mechanisms, which with the support of Keras, TensorFlow and OpenCV allows you to build your own autonomous vehicle.
