Description

AlphaBot is a kit for building a two-wheeled mobile robot based on a Raspberry Pi 3 model B minicomputer with a Broadcom BCM2837 quad-core 64-bit ARM-8 Cortex-A53 1.2 GHz processor. The board is equipped with four USB slots, 40 GPIOs, microSD card connectors, an Ethernet port and four mounting holes.

The kit includes a number of modules that perform tasks such as line tracking, obstacle avoidance, speed measurement and infrared control. The robot uses modular solutions that allow for easy and quick connection of components. The kit includes a chassis with a set of sensors and a camera with a 2 DoF mount, so the robot can also be used as a mobile surveillance component.
