Description

AlphaBot2 is a kit for building a two-wheeled mobile robot based on a Raspberry Pi 4 model B minicomputer with a quad-core SoC (Broadcom BCM2711, Cortex-A72 core) running at 1.5 GHz, 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Broadcom VideoCore VI graphics chip. The computer has a built-in WiFi network card (IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac 2.4/5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0/BLE. In addition, the board includes: 2 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 40-pin GPIO connector (fully compatible with previous versions of the board), 2 microHDMI ports, Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45 socket), DSI connector (for display connection), CSI connector (for camera connection), microSD card connector and 4 mounting holes.

The set can move both in an autonomous mode and be remotely controlled by a mobile application and Bluetooth interface, WiFi or an IR remote control.

Attention!

The kit does not include 14500 batteries. You must purchase them separately.

The set consists of two plates: the robot base with motors and an adapter plate. The base of the robot is equipped with connectors for connecting the ultrasonic sensor, line sensors, sensors to avoid obstacles and RGB LED. The board features a two-channel TB6612FNG motor driver, a potentiometer for adjusting the range of obstacle detection, a comparator and a basket for two 14500 batteries. To move, the base uses two N20 motors with a 30: 1 gear with wheels and two support balls.
