The Kitronik Autonomous Robotics Platform for Raspberry Pi Pico is intended for practical learning of basic robotics, programming, and concepts related to motion and sensors. The platform enables the construction of an autonomous mobile buggy robot controlled by a Raspberry Pi Pico, which is inserted into a dedicated onboard connector.
The kit has been designed to support gradual skill development. The platform features connectors for an ultrasonic sensor and a line following sensor, as well as additional connectors for servo motors and a second ultrasonic sensor, allowing more advanced projects to be implemented. The included step-by-step guide walks through assembly, preparation of the programming environment, and writing code in MicroPython using the Thonny editor.
The kit requires no soldering and is limited to minimal mechanical assembly, including fitting the wheels and connecting the sensor modules. The platform includes mounting points with M3 and M4 threads, enabling expansion with additional mechanical and functional components.
