Description
RS485 hub with signal amplifier function. It is equipped with one input port and 2 output ports, to which 128 devices can be connected each. Designed for communication within industrial networks, it allows to create applications operating in a star structure. It allows communication over a serial port at speeds of up to 115.2 kbps and offers a range of up to 3,000 meters when using good quality cables such as shielded twisted pair. It uses an automatic transmission direction detection function. The converter has built-in surge protection and opto-isolation to ensure safety and noise immunity. It is powered from 9 to 40 V and requires a power supply of min. 500 mA. It will find application in industrial networks for controlling traffic management, monitoring or data acquisition systems.
