High-quality OV5640 camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and a 120° wide-angle lens. This module is an ideal solution for photography and image analysis using Pico or Pico W boards. It allows capturing uncompressed RGB images for advanced analysis or utilizing built-in JPEG encoding for convenient image storage on an SD card or uploading to the adafruit.io platform.
The module uses a fast DVP parallel interface for communication with the RP2040 processor. The camera sensors support an 8-bit image data interface, Pixel Clock, H Sync, and V Sync signals, as well as configuration via the I2C interface. Additional Reset and Power Down pins enable easy control from the microcontroller.
