Description
Module with an ISO1540 bidirectional galvanic insulator. It allows to electrically separate two devices communicating via the I2C interface. It supports communication with a frequency of up to 1 MHz and can work with devices with a supply voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. Provides isolation at the level of 2500 V-RMS. The module requires a power connection to two sides of the system. Full documentation with examples is available on the product page.

- It supports communication up to 1 MHz
- Open drain outputs With a current carrying capacity of 3.5 mA on side 1 and 35 mA on side 2
- Working temperature from -40°C to + 125°C
- Resistance to transients ± 50 kV/μs
- HBM 4 kV ESD protection on all pins; 8 kV on the bus pins
- Safety related certifications:
- 4242-VPK insulation according to DIN VDE V 0884-11: 2017-01
- 2500-VRMS isolation for 1 minute according to UL 1577
- CSA approval according to device standards IEC 60950-1 and IEC 62368-1
- Basic CQC insulation according to GB4943.1-2011
- Voltage: 3.3V or 5V
