Test board for testing the emFile NAND controller and compatible memory devices. The base module with the STM32H743 microcontroller works with interchangeable adapters supporting different NAND Flash packages, providing flexibility in testing. Segger NAND Flash Evaluator (6.20.12)
SEGGER NAND Flash Evaluator is a platform designed to facilitate testing the emFile NAND driver. It consists of a base board with a microcontroller and an adapter board for connecting NAND Flash memory devices. The adapter connects to the base board via a dedicated connector, allowing the testing of various NAND memories in TSOP48 and VFBGA63 packages with an 8-bit or 16-bit data bus.
The device comes with an adapter featuring a TSOP48 socket, enabling direct memory testing without soldering. The base board is powered by a high-performance ST STM32H743 microcontroller, running at up to 400 MHz and equipped with 2MB of ROM and 383KB of RAM. A dedicated NAND Flash interface ensures high-speed data transfer between the microcontroller and the tested memory.
The device can be powered via a micro-USB port or through the debugging connector on the base board. A green LED indicates power presence, and the user can select the operating voltage (1.8V or 3.3V) using a jumper. Additionally, a dual-color LED (green/red) is available for signaling the device's operational status. The emFile software is provided as precompiled code along with a startup project that can be easily customized to fit specific requirements. JTAG tools, such as SEGGER J-Link, are required for programming and debugging.
