Description

The KAmod BlackPill 401 evaluation board features the STM32F401CCU microcontroller and includes all the components necessary for its operation and programming. While pin-compatible with the BlackPill project, this is a completely new design featuring a USB-C connector with ESD protection and a modified power circuit. With a pre-installed bootloader, it supports programming via Arduino IDE.

  • Microcontroller: STM32F401CCU6: Cortex-M4, 256 kB Flash, 64 kB RAM, 84 MHz, 1 x 12-bit ADC, 7 timers, 3 x I2C, 2 x SPI, 3 x UART, USB OTG FS, RTC.
  • USB-C Connector: Functions as a power supply, USB communication interface, and programming port.
  • Noise and surge protection: Includes filtering components for USB interface lines.
  • GPIO and power lines: 32 GPIO pins and 5V/3.3V power lines available on 2.54 mm pitch connectors.
  • Load capacity: 5V line: 500 mA; 3.3V line: 200 mA.
  • Clocking: Precise resonator for the microcontroller and a separate resonator for RTC.
  • RTC backup: Supports an external battery for RTC backup.
  • Programming/Debugging Interface: SWD interface for advanced programming.
  • Compatibility: Programmable via STM32CubeProgrammer and Arduino IDE.
  • Dimensions: 53.5 x 23 mm; height approx. 7 mm (without soldered goldpin headers).
