The CH340C provides USB bus to UART conversion with hardware full duplex support and an integrated transceiver buffer. Baud rates range from 50 bps to 2 Mbps. Support for RTS, DTR, CTS, DSR, RI, and DCD modem signals allow for serial device expansion without software modification. An integrated 12 MHz generator eliminates the need for an external resonator. Support for 3.3 V and 5 V supply voltages provides design flexibility.
