MT7628N-A WiFi Module Seeed Studio 317060562 is an energy-efficient 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module with OpenWRT support, intended for IoT applications and integration with smart devices. Thanks to its extensive interfaces and high performance, it is used in wireless communication systems, smart home networks, and edge devices.
The MT7628N-A module based on the MT7628NN chip is a low-cost and energy-efficient Wi-Fi solution for IoT applications, equipped with 128 MB RAM and 32 MB Flash memory. It supports Linux and OpenWRT operating systems, enabling flexible application development and software customization. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band with a maximum transmission speed of 300 Mbps and supports multiple operating modes, including router, access point, client (STA), and bridge.
Integrated interfaces include UART, SPI, GPIO, I2C, I2S, SDIO, Ethernet (1× WAN, 4× LAN), and PWM. The module can handle over 20 simultaneous TCP or UDP connections, and configuration can be carried out using AT commands or via a web interface. With compact dimensions and support for two external 2.4 GHz antennas, it is well suited for smart devices and cloud-based applications.
