Buzzers and Locators for Drones

Buzzers and locators help recover a drone after an emergency landing, crash or loss of control. The category includes modules with audible and visual signalling, solutions designed to operate with a flight controller, and models equipped with their own battery that can continue signalling even after the drone's main power supply has been disconnected.

Buzzers for FPV drones

Buzzers generate a loud audible signal that helps determine the position of a drone when it is no longer visible. They can operate with a flight controller and provide manually activated signalling or indicate selected events during drone operation.

Locators with an independent power supply

Selected locators feature a built-in battery, allowing them to continue signalling after power from the main battery is lost. Independent operation can be particularly useful when the main battery becomes disconnected following an impact or is completely discharged.

Audible and visual signalling

In addition to an audible alarm, selected devices use LED indicators to make the drone easier to locate visually. Combining audible and visual signalling can assist recovery in tall grass, vegetation and low-visibility conditions.

Integration with drone electronics

Buzzers and locators can be connected to appropriate flight controller outputs or the drone's power system. Important parameters include supply voltage, control method, dimensions and weight, particularly when selecting a module for compact FPV builds.

Locating a drone after an emergency landing

Signalling modules can be used in FPV, freestyle and long-range applications where the landing location may not remain visible to the operator. Autonomous signalling can also assist recovery after loss of communication with the flight controller or disconnection of the main battery.
