This L298N module allows independent control of two DC motors or one stepper motor, ideal for robotics and DIY projects. It supports power supplies from 7V to 35V and has a built-in 5V regulator that can power additional circuits. Control is performed via the ENA, ENB, and IN1–IN4 pins, allowing for adjustable rotational direction and speed. The module is equipped with protection diodes and filter capacitors for stable and reliable operation.
The L298N Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver is a popular motor driver module, ideal for applications in robotics, remote-controlled vehicles, and educational projects. Featuring the L298N chip, the module offers low heat generation and high resistance to interference. The driver has two built-in H-bridges, allowing independent control of two DC motors or one stepper motor. It is equipped with a built-in 5 V regulator, which automatically powers the logic circuit when the supply voltage is between 7 V and 35 V. Note that when the 5 V supply on the board is active, you must not apply additional voltage to the +5V pin, but you can use this pin as a power source for other circuits. Control is achieved via ENA, ENB, and IN1-IN4 pins, which manage the OUT1-OUT4 outputs, enabling direction and speed control of the motors. The module is equipped with large filter capacitors and protective diodes, which increase its reliability when working with motors. Thanks to its compact size, ease of connection, and high versatility, the L298N is an excellent choice for projects requiring precise motor control.

This add-on board enables a Raspberry Pi B+, Pi A+, Pi 2 or Pi 3 to drive a pair of brushed DC motors. Its dual MC33926 motor drivers operate from 5 V to 28 V and can deliver a continuous 3 A (5 A peak) per motor. The default pin mappings make it easy to get started using our provided software, but the board also exposes most of the driver chips’ I/O pins for more specialized applications.
