DFRobot DRI0057 board enables control of complex servo systems using USB or UART interfaces and provides full bidirectional communication with servos. Designed for advanced robotics and applications requiring precise synchronization of multiple drives.
The DFRobot DRI0057 control board enables precise management of up to 253 serial bus servos from the ST/SC series, providing a comprehensive solution for building advanced robotic systems. It communicates with host systems via USB or UART interfaces, acting as an intermediary between the microcontroller and the servo network. It allows not only command transmission but also real-time data reading – such as angle, load, voltage, or operating mode of each servo. Integrated power stabilization and two connection options (DC 5.5×2.1 mm jack and power terminal block) simplify installation and ensure stable operation.

This Kit with fully-dedicated PWM driver chip handles all the motor and speed controls over I2C. Only two data pins (SDA & SCL in addition to the power pins GND & 5V) are required to drive the multiple motors; you can also connect any other I2C devices or shields to the same pins. This makes it drop-in compatible with any Arduino, such as the Uno, Due, Leonardo and Mega R3. Adafruit 1438
The expansion module is designed to work with micro:bit. It allows you to control 4 DC motors or two stepper motors and 8 servos. It communicates via the I2C interface. DFRobot DFR0548
