The module generates 16 PWM signals and communicates via the digital I2C interface. The built-in PCA9685 (NXP Semiconductors) can generate signals with 12-bit resolution. It is optimized for controlling LED RGB / RGBA lighting, but it can also be used for other purposes, e.g. servo control. The module has a connector for additional power supply. The A0: A5 address jumpers enable the connection of multiple systems to one I2C bus, and the V_SEL +3,3 V / + 5 V configuration jumper allows selection of supply voltage and digital signals.
The standard setting of the power jumper is +3.3 V.
