Description
The J-Link Software Developer Kit (SDK) is a comprehensive solution that enables the integration of J-Link functionality into custom applications. It is widely used in professional development environments such as SEGGER Embedded Studio, as well as in custom production and testing tools. The SDK allows for debugging, flash memory programming, and application testing using J-Link.
The software is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. It supports nearly any programming language through a standard DLL or shared library and provides an intuitive C-language API. The package includes starter projects for Visual C++, Visual Basic, and VB.NET, making it easy to get started.
J-Link SDK provides full control over the device, including breakpoint management, real-time debugging, and low-level communication with the target system via JTAG. It supports RTT, SWO, and Simple Trace technologies and enables high-speed flash memory programming without the need for custom programmers. Regular updates ensure compatibility with all CPU cores supported by J-Link.
