Description

Analog Discovery Studio Max (ADS Max) is a versatile and complete mobile electronics laboratory designed for engineering education. It combines as many as 14 essential measurement instruments in a single compact enclosure, including an oscilloscope, waveform generator, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, digital multimeter (DMM), programmable power supplies, and protocol analyzer. This makes ADS Max an ideal solution for both in-person and remote learning.

One of ADS Max's standout features is the ability to quickly and conveniently prototype electronic circuits. The device includes built-in power supplies and an integrated prototyping area in the form of a breadboard, allowing students to rapidly build and test their own projects. It's ideal for subjects such as circuit design, signal analysis, embedded systems, and power electronics. ADS Max is designed with versatility in mind. Thanks to its compact size and full functionality, it is suitable for traditional labs as well as home-based learning. It’s an excellent solution for universities aiming to provide students with access to advanced engineering tools without requiring a physical lab presence.

The device comes with Digilent WaveForms software, featuring ready-to-use instrument panels that enable immediate use with no additional configuration. ADS Max also supports LabVIEW, Python, and C environments, allowing for the development of custom applications and automation of measurement processes. Additionally, the LabVIEW WaveForms Toolkit ensures tight integration with LabVIEW analytical tools, enabling efficient data analysis and custom user interface development. ADS Max is part of a broader educational ecosystem that includes Canvas Max—an expansion module for the platform—as well as thematic kits developed in collaboration with academic partners. Available materials cover areas such as wireless communication, power electronics, digital logic, and more. This allows instructors to conduct lab classes based on proven, ready-to-use scenarios and educational tasks.
