Description

The ArduCAM 8MP IMX219 with Auto Focus is an advanced camera module designed for single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, Zero, and Zero 2W. Unlike standard fixed-focus camera modules, this model features a remotely controlled auto focus lens, which can be precisely adjusted via software. This gives users full control over image sharpness, greatly enhancing flexibility for both professional and hobbyist applications.

The module supports both automatic and manual focus control using simple Python scripts compatible with the OpenCV library. It uses the reliable Sony IMX219 sensor with an 8 MP resolution, providing excellent image and video quality. The camera is designed for easy setup and operation, even for beginners.
