Description
Waveshare 33160 is a USB camera based on the IMX577 image sensor, offering high 12 MP image resolution and a maximum still image resolution of 3840 x 3024. The camera is designed for vision systems, image analysis, monitoring and embedded projects that require a wide field of view and low image distortion.
The applied fixed-focus lens with a focal length of 2.88 mm and an aperture of F2.8 provides a wide 113° field of view while maintaining very low image distortion below -1.5%. This allows accurate scene reproduction without noticeable geometric distortion, which is important in measurement, vision and analytical applications.
The camera is equipped with a USB 2.0 Type-C interface, offering Plug and Play functionality without the need to install drivers. It enables direct connection to PC computers, Raspberry Pi platforms, NVIDIA Jetson kits and other devices that support USB cameras.
The IMX577 sensor with a size of 1/2.3 inch ensures high image quality and supports video recording at 4K resolution at 30 fps as well as 12 MP at 20 fps. The camera supports MJPG and YUY2 formats, providing wide compatibility with image processing software.
The module includes an additional SH1.0 4-pin connector, allowing flexible camera connection in applications with limited installation space.
