reComputer R1225 is an advanced industrial IoT gateway and edge controller based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. The device is designed as a reliable platform for LoRaWAN communication systems, building automation, and industrial monitoring and control applications. Powered by a Quad-core Cortex-A72 1.5 GHz processor, equipped with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage, the gateway enables efficient processing of large volumes of data directly at the edge computing level. The system runs on Seeed Gateway OS, providing a stable environment for IoT applications and sensor network management.

The device supports the LoRaWAN v1.1.0 protocol and operates in the EU868 band, offering up to 8 communication channels and high receiver sensitivity, allowing communication with devices located at long distances. The integrated SX1302 chipset provides high transmission efficiency and stable operation in large IoT networks. Built-in support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi enables integration with wireless networks and remote access to the device. This makes the gateway suitable for applications such as environmental monitoring, smart city systems, energy management, and industrial infrastructure.

The reComputer R1225 provides a wide range of industrial interfaces, including three isolated RS485 ports supporting popular communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet. Additionally, the device features two Ethernet ports, one of which supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing the gateway to be powered directly through the network cable. Built-in USB ports, HDMI, SIM slot, and M.2 connector allow connection of additional communication modules, storage devices, or peripherals. A fanless design and IP40-rated enclosure ensure reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
The system is also equipped with a hardware watchdog, high-precision RTC clock, and a UPS module based on a supercapacitor, improving reliability in critical applications. Additional security features such as a TPM 2.0 encryption chip and ATECC608A cryptographic module enable secure storage of cryptographic keys and protection of communication. Thanks to compatibility with AI NPU accelerators, the device can also be used in edge AI projects. The reComputer R1225 is an excellent solution for BMS, BAS, and iBMS systems, remote infrastructure management, industrial monitoring, and smart IoT installations.
