Description

Set with Dual Camera Base and interface expander for Raspberry Pi CM4 modules.

The Dual Camera Base board is equipped with special connectors for connecting the CM4 module and the output of the basic interfaces, including USB, Ethernet, HDMI and a microSD card slot. In addition, there are two FFC connectors, on which USB 2.0, PCIe, HDMI and GPIO interfaces are available. They are used to connect the RPi CM4 to the interface expander. On the other side of the board, the user has two cameras with an IMX219 sensor with a resolution of 8 MP (3280 x 2464 px).

Interface Expander is a module that extends the capabilities of the Dual Camera Base. It allows the use of other interfaces which, due to their small size, were not led out on the base board. The expander also provides three USB 2.0 sockets, an HDMI port and a 40-pin GPIO connector compatible with HAT modules. There is also an M.2 connector on the board for connecting additional communication modules or a disk. The Interface Expander connects to the Dual Camera Base using the two FFC tapes included in the kit.

The set is dedicated to applications using stereo vision, including image recognition in autonomous driving systems or robotics. Full documentation is available on the product Wiki page.
