The Smart Fan Unit is designed to provide effective cooling for the Uptime Industries Compute Blade platform. It is specifically built to support devices operating 24/7, especially under heavy loads, where active cooling is essential. By utilizing an advanced cooling system, it prevents the overheating of Compute Module 4 (CM4) units and ensures stable device operation, eliminating the risk of performance throttling. The Smart Fan Unit is an advanced solution offering flexibility in adjusting the operating logic. The built-in RP2040 microcontroller allows for the expansion of the system with additional sensors. The device is powered directly by the Compute Blade, eliminating the need for additional wiring. It is compatible with two Compute Blade units, enabling effective cooling under high load conditions. The Noctua NF-A4x20 5V PWM fan ensures reliable ventilation, and the built-in temperature sensors and LED indicators for device status make it easy to monitor and control the system's operation.
