Large Carrier version current sensor from Pololu, model 5299, based on the ACS37220LEZATR-200B5, designed for measuring AC and DC current in the range from -200 A to +200 A at a nominal supply voltage of 5 V. Measurement is performed using the Hall effect in an isolated current path with very low resistance (approx. 0.1 mΩ), which minimizes power losses and reduces the impact of the sensor on the measured circuit.

The output signal is provided as an analog voltage proportional to the current, with a zero-current output level of approximately 2.5 V. The module offers a bandwidth of up to 150 kHz and a response time below 4 µs, enabling accurate monitoring of rapidly changing currents in power electronics systems.
The sensor is equipped with a configurable FAULT output (via the VOC pin), allowing fast detection of overcurrent conditions and short circuits. The 6-layer PCB improves heat dissipation and ensures stable operation at high currents. Additionally, integrated temperature compensation enhances measurement accuracy across a wide operating temperature range.
