Description
The Pololu 5328 current sensor is based on the Allegro CT432-HSWF70DR featuring XtremeSense™ TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) technology, enabling accurate current measurement while maintaining electrical isolation between the current path and the control electronics. Its unidirectional measurement range of 0 A to 70 A makes the module suitable for switch-mode power supplies, inverters, energy management systems, and current monitoring applications.
The module operates from a 4.75 V to 5.5 V supply (5 V nominal) and provides an analog output with a sensitivity of 57.1 mV/A and a zero-current output voltage of 0.5 V. A 1 MHz bandwidth, typical response time of 300 ns, and high immunity to fast dV/dt transients make it suitable for high-speed power electronics applications. An additional FLT output indicates an overcurrent condition when the measured current exceeds the specified sensing range.
