Pololu 5242 with the ACS71240KEXBLT-050B3 chip is a compact current sensor module for precision measurement applications in the ±50 A range. Description
The module features the Allegro ACS71240KEXBLT-050B3 current sensor, based on the Hall effect, designed for precise current measurement in the range from –50 A to +50 A. The sensor provides electrical isolation between the measurement path and the control side, enabling safe integration in systems that require galvanic separation. It offers an analog output proportional to the measured current, with a wide bandwidth of up to 120 kHz and a very short response time of less than 5 µs. An integrated overcurrent fault output reacts within 1.5 µs, enabling fast short-circuit detection. Built-in temperature compensation ensures high accuracy across a wide temperature range.
