ACS37030 Current Sensor is an advanced current sensor module with a measurement range from -40 A to +40 A, combining Hall effect and inductive coil technologies, enabling the measurement of both DC and AC components of the current signal. This provides an exceptionally wide bandwidth of DC up to 5 MHz, allowing precise monitoring of dynamic current changes in real time. One of the key features of this module is its ultrafast response time of just 40 ns. This makes the sensor an ideal solution for applications requiring ultra-fast current change detection, such as motor control systems, power converters, protection systems, and energy monitoring. The sensor offers galvanic isolation between the current path and the measurement circuits, ensuring safety and minimizing interference. Its current-carrying path features an extremely low resistance of just 0.7 mΩ, reducing power losses and allowing efficient operation in high-current systems. Additionally, the PCB is made of high-quality copper, further enhancing its electrical properties.

The sensor output is not ratiometric, meaning its zero point and sensitivity are independent of the actual supply voltage, eliminating the influence of power line noise. The sensor output is an analog voltage proportional to the measured current. Thanks to the integrated reference output VREF, the sensor enables pseudo-differential signal transmission, significantly improving noise immunity in demanding application environments. Furthermore, the built-in digital temperature compensation ensures high measurement accuracy over a wide temperature range.
The module is designed for easy integration into various systems. It offers multiple mounting options, including standard 2.54 mm pins, screw terminals, and mounting holes, allowing quick and convenient installation in the circuit. Pin markings are printed on the PCB for easy and correct connection.

Applications of the ACS37030 sensor include a wide range of uses, such as energy management systems, battery monitoring, electric motor speed control, short-circuit detection, power converters, and protection systems. With its advanced features and flexible mounting options, this sensor is an excellent solution for professional projects requiring precise current measurement with high speed and accuracy.
