Pololu 5292 is a compact carrier board featuring a current sensor based on the ACS37220LEZATR-100B5 IC, intended for measuring both AC and DC currents in the ±100 A range at a nominal 5 V supply voltage. The measurement is performed using the Hall effect in an isolated, very low-resistance current path, which minimizes power losses and reduces the sensor’s impact on the measured circuit.
Użycie sensora

The measurement signal is available as an analog voltage proportional to the measured current, with a quiescent output level around half of the supply voltage. The module provides a wide measurement bandwidth of up to approximately 150 kHz and a fast response time, enabling monitoring of dynamically changing currents. The device also offers a fault indication output for overcurrent threshold events, which can be used in protection and diagnostic systems.
