The ACS72981 current sensor module is a modern solution based on the Hall effect, providing electrical isolation of the current path. This allows it to be placed anywhere in the electrical circuit, offering safe and precise measurement. The sensor features an interference-resistant design, eliminating the influence of uniform magnetic fields such as the Earth’s magnetic field. With its low conductor resistance (0.2 mΩ) and multilayer PCB (6 layers, 2 oz copper), energy losses are minimized.

The sensor provides a wideband analog output (up to 250 kHz) proportional to DC current, with a response time below 2 µs. Built-in digital temperature compensation improves measurement accuracy across a wide temperature range.
Various mounting methods make it easy to integrate the module into a circuit – you can solder wires directly to the holes, use solderless ring terminals, or attach screw terminals. The largest holes support wires up to 8 AWG and M3.5 screws, while additional 3.5 mm and 5 mm holes allow the use of screw terminals or pin headers.

The module is ideal for applications requiring precise current measurement, such as energy management systems, battery monitoring, protection circuits, and industrial electronics. Thanks to its electrical isolation, it enables safe current monitoring in high-voltage systems, while its low power consumption makes it suitable for mobile and battery-powered devices. A user-friendly interface and compact design make the sensor an excellent choice for both professionals and hobbyists. It can be used in prototyping, testing, or as a component of finished measurement systems. Its ease of integration and wide range of applications make the ACS72981 an indispensable tool in modern electronics.
