Description

Compact current sensor based on the CT432-HSWF65MR, designed for measuring AC and DC currents in the range from -65 A to +65 A at a nominal supply voltage of 5 V. Measurement is performed using TMR (tunneling magnetoresistance) technology in an isolated current path with very low resistance (approx. 1 mΩ), which reduces power losses and minimizes the impact of the sensor on the measured circuit.

The output signal is provided as an analog voltage proportional to the measured current, with a zero-current output level of approximately 2.5 V. The module features a wide bandwidth up to 1 MHz and a short response time of approximately 300 ns, enabling monitoring of rapidly changing currents in power electronics and switching applications. The sensor includes an FLT output that indicates when the allowable current range is exceeded, which can be used in protection and diagnostic systems.
