Description
Laser scanner using ToF technology to create a map in the 2D plane. The sensor takes measurements at 21600 Hz, allowing 360° scanning at up to 10 Hz. It has a range of up to 25 m and the measurement accuracy over the entire range is approximately ±30 mm. The sensor communicates via the UART interface (or USB via the included adapter) and is powered by 5 V. The built-in brushless motor ensures long and trouble-free operation, and the refined optical design effectively protects against strong interference from ambient light. Its small size makes it ideal for use in SLAM algorithms, for determining the robot's position in space, mapping the terrain in which it is located, detecting objects and planning the robot's route.
