Description
Development board featuring an ESP32-S3 microcontroller, designed for electronic projects using WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy communication. The LILYGO T8-S3 V1.2 (H669) uses a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at up to 240 MHz, with 16 MB Flash memory and 8 MB PSRAM. The ESP32-S3 provides 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 LE connectivity, while GPIO pins allow sensors and other electronic components to be connected.
Building wireless measurement systems - enables sensor data to be collected and transmitted over WiFi networks. Developing IoT devices allows controllers and communication modules to be designed for integration with local automation systems. Logging measurement data - uses the built-in microSD card slot to store files and measurement results. Bluetooth Low Energy communication enables data exchange with compatible mobile devices and other BLE modules.
The USB Type-C connector provides power and communication with a computer. The board also features a 3.7 V Li-Po battery connector, a battery voltage monitoring circuit, RESET and BOOT buttons, and a WiFi antenna. Programming can be performed using Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF and PlatformIO with C/C++ or MicroPython. GPIO pins are arranged along both edges of the board, facilitating connections to wires and prototyping components.
