Compact board for controlling RGB and white LED strips, allowing easy connection without the need for soldering. With WS2811F and N-channel FETs, it supports up to 3A of current per channel, making it ideal for high-current LED strips, but does not support RGBW strips. Adafruit 5888
Adafruit NeoRGB Stemma Board is a solution for controlling RGB and white LED strips, simplifying the process of connecting and controlling analog LED strips. With this board, you no longer need to worry about complicated wiring, FET transistors, or power supply – just plug it in to have full control over your LEDs. NeoRGB is a compact plug-and-play STEMMA board that requires no soldering. On one side, it has a 2mm JST PH connector, and on the other, a 5-pin 0.1" terminal block. The board uses the WS2811F chip and AO3406 N-channel FET transistors, which offer high performance and can handle up to 3A of current per channel, making it perfect for controlling high-current LED strips. NeoRGB allows for easy control of both RGB and white LED strips, treating them as a single NeoPixel, with a voltage range of up to 16V and a current of up to 3A per channel. It is an excellent solution for large LED strips as well as for controlling individual LEDs. It is important to note that this board does not support RGBW strips, as the WS2811F chip only supports 3 channels.
