Description
The Waveshare 31900 Core1121-HF LoRa module is designed for low-power wireless communication in LPWAN networks, for IoT applications requiring long range, high reliability and operation across multiple frequency bands. The design is based on the third-generation low-power LR1121 transceiver, enabling transmission in the Sub-GHz and 2.4GHz ISM bands, allowing global deployment in accordance with local radio regulations.
The module supports LoRa, (G)FSK and LR-FHSS modulation schemes, ensuring compatibility with earlier solutions based on SX126X, SX127X and SX128X series transceivers. Communication with the host microcontroller is handled via the SPI interface, enabling easy integration with popular platforms such as ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32 and Raspberry Pi Pico.
The integrated TCXO oscillator improves frequency stability over a wide temperature range, while the hardware AES-128 encryption engine enhances data security in LoRa and LoRaWAN networks. The version with pre-soldered pin headers supports rapid prototyping and convenient installation on breadboards and development boards.
