The multi-protocol wireless communication module combines the Nordic nRF52840 microcontroller with the Semtech LR1110 transceiver, providing support for LoRa, LoRaWAN, Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Mesh, NFC, Thread and Zigbee. The LR1110 supports frequencies from 150 MHz to 960 MHz, while the module is designed for LoRa / LoRaWAN communication in the 850 MHz to 930 MHz band, including 868 MHz and 915 MHz. Maximum transmit power reaches +21 dBm, receiver sensitivity reaches -141 dBm and the link budget is up to 166 dB. LoRaWAN Classes A, B and C compliant with the LoRaWAN 1.0.4 specification are supported, along with LoRa point-to-point (P2P) communication. Typical communication range is from 5 km to 6 km and can exceed 10 km under suitable conditions.

The GNSS and WiFi scanning functions of the LR1110 allow available signals to be used for device positioning, making the module suitable for trackers, asset tracking systems, telemetry, logistics, industrial automation, smart agriculture and IoT devices. The pins provide access to GPIO, UART, I2C, ADC, SPI, USB, NFC and SWD, while built-in AT command firmware allows the module to be controlled via UART. SDK support also enables custom firmware development. Operating voltage ranges from 1.8 V to 3.7 V, sleep current is approximately 6 µA, while the industrial-grade 32 MHz TCXO and operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C support use in industrial applications.
Warning!
The module supports the European 868 MHz band, but also allows operation on frequencies subject to restrictions in Europe. Before transmitting, check local regulations regarding permitted frequencies and transmit power.
