The Micsig CP3008 probe is designed for precise measurement of AC/DC currents in high-voltage and high-current circuits. It is used in the analysis of switching power supplies, power converters, inverters, and testing of devices with high current loads.
The Micsig CP3008 current probe enables accurate measurement of alternating and direct current in power electronics systems and switching power supply circuits. The measurement range is up to 300 A RMS and 500 A peak, with a bandwidth of DC – 8 MHz and a rise time of ≤ 43.75 ns. The dual-range design (50 A / 300 A) and resolution up to 10 mA allow precise signal capture in both low and high current ranges.
The system features typical accuracy of ±1% (±10 mA for the 50 A range and ±100 mA for the 300 A range), delay < 4 ns, and low noise level < 3.5 mApp. The probe’s voltage output is 1 V/10 A or 1 V/100 A depending on the selected range and multiplier (x1, x10, x100). The probe indicates when the current threshold is exceeded (≥ 50 Apk or ≥ 500 Apk) and allows operation with working and floating voltage up to CAT I 300 V. The probe is powered by an external 12 V source.
The BNC connector ensures wide compatibility with oscilloscopes from various manufacturers, and the 20 mm jaw diameter allows clamping of wires with larger cross-sections.
