Expansion module with GNSS receiver dedicated to Raspberry Pi minicomputers. It provides simultaneous reception of two satellite systems: GPS and GLONASS. The module also has support for supporting systems such as SBAS and A-GNSS (Assisted GNSS).
The receiver features a high sensitivity of -161dBm. It features a high dynamic range radio circuit with analog and digital noise reduction. It uses a 56-channel u-blox 7 engine that supports GPS/QZSS L1C/A, GLONASS L1 FDMA, SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS) frequency bands. It allows positioning with an accuracy of 2.5m for GPS and 4m for GLONASS. It also allows measurement of movement speed and direction.
