Advanced GNSS receiver based on the Quectel LG290P module, which supports four frequency bands: L1, L2, L5 and E6, enabling reception of signals from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS and NavIC satellite systems. With support for SBAS and PPP, the module provides highly precise positioning, and the built-in anti-jamming unit minimizes electromagnetic interference, which ensures reliability in difficult conditions. The Qwiic connector allows easy integration with systems, and low power consumption makes it an ideal solution for applications requiring long-term battery operation. SparkFun GPS-26620
Quadband GNSS RTK Breakout is an advanced GNSS receiver that provides exceptional navigation accuracy, ideal for demanding precision applications. Built around the Quectel LG290P module, the device supports four frequency bands: L1, L2, L5, and E6, allowing simultaneous reception of signals from multiple satellite systems, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, and NavIC. This feature ensures broad compatibility with various satellite constellations, providing higher location precision even in challenging conditions. The module also supports SBAS systems such as WASS, EGNOS, and GAGAN, as well as PPP, enabling even more accurate measurements. The built-in Anti-Interference Unit (NIC) effectively eliminates electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliability in difficult environments such as cities or dense forests. The solution offers high signal sensitivity, achieving -146 dBm in signal acquisition mode and -160 dBm during tracking.
Thanks to the Qwiic connector, integration with systems is fast and easy, and the device is compatible with popular interfaces such as UART (three UART ports supported), I2C, and SPI (in development). Additionally, the module offers exceptionally low power consumption – in energy-saving mode, it only consumes 12 μA, making it an excellent solution for applications requiring long battery life.
Ideal applications for this module include projects requiring precise positioning, such as smart robots, autonomous vehicles, UAVs, precision agriculture, as well as various applications related to geodetic measurements and real-time monitoring. With its reliability and easy integration, the SparkFun module is a great tool for executing complex navigation projects.
