emPower-USB-Host+ is a modern, affordable development board designed for embedded applications. It offers two USB-Host ports. Thanks to its exceptionally simple and compact design, the board allows for easy integration into various applications, and its versatility makes it an ideal solution for prototyping and testing USB-based solutions. The module supports SEGGER software, such as emUSB-Host (for USB device management), emLoad (bootloader for firmware upload), and embOS (real-time operating system). The entire setup is ready to use right out of the box, and the configuration process is minimal, making it very user-friendly.

A key advantage of emPower-USB-Host+ is the easy possibility of firmware updates. Users can update the board's firmware simply by saving the appropriate binary file to a USB drive. After connecting the USB drive and restarting the device, the update process occurs automatically, saving time and effort. Additionally, a wide range of software examples is available for download from SEGGER. All examples are ready to run without the need for any modification, allowing for a quick start with the board.
The board can also be used as a base for creating custom devices utilizing two USB-Host ports, as the board's schematics are available for download and can serve as a template for new projects. Furthermore, for the convenience of developers, the board includes a built-in J-Link OB debugger, enabling easy debugging of applications without the need for additional tools.
